Terms of Service

1. The service
BIKUBOO is a peer-to-peer ride-pooling platform that helps users offer, discover and request rides. BIKUBOO does not guarantee that a ride will be available, suitable, safe, on time or completed. Users decide whether to accept, provide or join a ride.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of using the service. You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure and not impersonate another person. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by a verified platform security incident.
3. Drivers and vehicles
Drivers are responsible for having a legally usable vehicle, appropriate licence, insurance, permits and other documents required by applicable law. Drivers must follow traffic laws and must not drive while impaired, fatigued or otherwise unfit. BIKUBOO does not independently guarantee the condition, legality or insurance status of every vehicle or driver.
4. Passengers
Passengers must provide accurate ride information, follow reasonable safety instructions and behave respectfully. A passenger must not bring prohibited or dangerous items or create a safety risk for the driver or other passengers.
5. Ride requests and acceptance
A request is not a confirmed ride until the driver accepts it through the service. Drivers may decline requests. Users should verify the ride details, driver/passenger identity and pickup location before starting the trip.
6. Contributions and payments
Where a contribution amount is displayed, it is the amount shown by the driver for that ride and is subject to the platform's available payment flow. Payments may be made through supported digital payment methods or cash. Payment status can depend on confirmation by the relevant payment provider or user. Any applicable taxes, fees or legal requirements remain subject to applicable law and the terms displayed by BIKUBOO or its payment provider.
7. Cancellations, refunds and disputes
Ride cancellation and payment outcomes depend on the ride status and payment transaction status. A payment provider may apply its own processing rules. If a payment appears incorrect, duplicated, unauthorised or otherwise disputed, contact BIKUBOO support with the ride and transaction details. We may investigate and correct records where appropriate.
8. Safety and emergency features
BIKUBOO provides safety features such as ride OTP verification, safety reporting, emergency contacts and SOS functionality. These features are support tools, not a substitute for emergency services, police, ambulance or medical assistance. In an immediate emergency in India, contact the appropriate emergency service, including 112 where applicable.
9. Prohibited conduct
- Fraud, fake identities or misleading ride information.
- Harassment, threats, discrimination or abusive behaviour.
- Using BIKUBOO for unlawful activity.
- Manipulating ratings, referrals, rewards, payments or ride status.
- Sharing another person's private information without permission.
- Attempting to bypass security, access restricted data or disrupt the service.
- Carrying dangerous or prohibited items in violation of law or platform rules.
10. Ratings, chat and user content
You are responsible for content you submit. Reviews and messages must be truthful, relevant and respectful. BIKUBOO may remove content or restrict accounts where content violates these terms or creates a safety/security concern.
11. Referrals and rewards
Referral codes and rewards are promotional features and may be subject to eligibility rules, limits, fraud checks and changes or withdrawal by BIKUBOO. Rewards are not cash unless the service explicitly states otherwise. Attempting to create artificial accounts or transactions to earn rewards is prohibited.
12. Intellectual property
BIKUBOO branding, software, interface and original content belong to BIKUBOO or its licensors. You receive a limited right to use the service for its intended purpose and may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or exploit the service except as permitted by law.
13. Availability and liability
The service may be unavailable, delayed or changed. To the extent permitted by law, BIKUBOO is not responsible for events outside its reasonable control, including user conduct, traffic conditions, vehicle failures, weather, network outages or third-party service failures. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for safety, fraud, abuse, legal compliance, serious violations or other legitimate operational reasons. You may stop using the service at any time.
15. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the service or law changes. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law. These terms should be supplemented with the final governing-law, jurisdiction and dispute-resolution provisions selected by the BIKUBOO operator after legal review.
